How It Works
Taking a course from The Educated Investigator is simple. First, choose a course. Courses are listed alphabetically and by state. Since CE regulations vary from state to state, not all courses qualify for CE credits in every state.
When you have chosen your course, follow the link to the login/registration page. If this is your first visit, you will complete a short registration form. If you are a returning student, simply enter your login information.
You will be asked to verify your choice of courses and to enter payment information. We use Stripe and Paypal to process payments. All courses are about $15 per credit hour.
After payment has been processed, you will be able to open the course page. Courses are presented in a variety of formats, mostly text, but sometimes containing audio or video segments. You can complete the course at your own speed, stopping when you want and re-starting another time. Courses are designed to have numerous lessons, sub-categories within the course. When a lesson is marked complete you need not re-take it.
When you have read through the course work you will be prompted to take a short quiz. The quiz is typically 5-10 questions that test your understanding of the material. You can re-take the quiz as many times as you like.
Once the quiz in completed your certificate of completion will appear in a new window for you to print or download. Use this certificate as proof of completion when you renew your PI license.
